Before we move on to the next swap, I think we 'heads should put our collective.. well, "heads" together to right a wrong in our little community.
As for the folks that didn't get panels from the first swap, they may have "got over it" but I know Terry still feels bad, & whenever I hear mention of it, it kinda bugs me too.
The folks that didn't make the panel they were supposed to probably also feel bad... (they better ) so, I don't know what their reasoning may have been, but lets assume for a minute that they are to busy making money...
"Panel for hire" there should be no shortage of panels flowing through this community, & the thought that there would be is incongruous to me. Maybe the folks that "owe" a panel could hire someone here to get it done. I would imagine some of us would even consider donating one (like John Deaton has done) Many of the rest of us, I would think could, could be persuaded to make a nice panel for a cut-rate price. I realize so many panels are of the several hundred dollar quality... but maybe if some of these procrastinators could cough up at least $100 to invest in righting this wrong here in our little town.
OR... the rule of law has always been enforced in part by the deterrent of punishment... so should our fellow 'heads be cajoled, have dispersions cast upon, hunted down, their characters questioned, ridiculed, ball busted, flamed, roasted, made fun of, and generally looked down upon. ...well maybe not "hunted down"
some crazy ideas here, but thought I'd throw it out there & see what replies may surface. I, for one, will sell my soul to offer a Panel-for-hire (make that share my soul)

If the decision is to make right those that were wronged in the first swap, I'm in. I didn't partake in the first swap because I knew I wouldn't be able to get a panel done in a timely manner. I feel really bad about those who worked hard to send a panel off and were never visited by the postman themselves.
If there are people who did a panel in the first swap and didn't receive one, just email me Terry. With the construction and everything else around here, I welcome the opportunity to get lost in a project that doesn't require talking to a customer.

allright... check that offer out! come on you people (you know who you are... we don't) Don't make Terry email, when you can. Don't let that "flake factor" label apply to YOU...
like the lady says "Do what feels right." Line up a "panel-for-hire" today to make you alleged victim happy tomorrow. And it seems like the price is right for any takers on her offer.
did I say "lady" ... damn that might get my name lost in the hat.. I meant Kissy.
OK, I'll step up to the plate too, & will do a panel for someone who hasn't recieved one. No charge, but hurry, my services don't come this cheap too often

I found out about Letterville to late to be a part of the first one. I hate I missed out. There were some really nice panels done then too. I love having conversation pieces from other artists.

I've got a great idea (he say's sarcastically). Why not have the next swap include only those who haven't finished (or started) their panels from the first two swaps. That way nobody would have to coordinate the event, nobody would feel bad about not receiving a panel and nobody would feel pressured to finish on time (or at all).
You can send me a name Terry...

Just my feeble attempt at humor Pat. Terry, IF you decide to have some panels made for the unfortunate people who were left out, I would be more than happy to supply one.

How could I decide who should get one and who shouldn't? I have so many people that made one but didn't get one.
This is the list of who made a panel but didn't get one in return. To anyone who would like to make one, knowing there isn't one coming in return, please pick a name from the list and let me know who you've chosen.
A million Thank You's to anyone generous enough to do this!! It's so appreciated by me and without a doubt by any of these people on the list.
EVERYONE HAS BEEN TAKEN CARE OF! *I'm editing this list as people volunteer below.
If I have missed someone, please speak up.
There are others on the list, but as fate would have it, they haven't finished theirs either. I suspect that has something to do with the reason for not making one themselves.
You guys are awesome!

Well, this fits right into my latest trail.... I'll make a panel.... it can go where ever, or to a specific person. Done by the end of Nov.

Jim Hetzler & Ray Sauder
so step right up people... we can't stop now! lets take care of this old business. Thanks to Kissy (& John D. before her) for starting the ball rolling & putting my "panel-for-hire" idea to shame... opting for some good old fashioned letterhead spirit instead to clean up these loose ends...

OK, Jim Heltzer or Ray Sauder.... or both, I can't stand the disapointment sp? of being bumped out by Doug again!!lol

It has really bothered me since the first panel swap that there were people out there that put out so much effort to make a panel but didn't get one in return.
I just can't express how much I appreciate you volunteering to do this!
