We are so lucky here too Mike...thank god sand doesn't burn, huh?
The firefighters got a huge help today...the weather has gone from 105º and 7% humidity to 73º and 65% humidity. That could make all the difference.

Yeah.. I just hope the fires dont cause any more problems with air travel cause I have family flying in to AZ for my sister's wedding this weekend!
The airport in Phoenix took a lot of the flights that were supposed to go into Cali causing delays for flights all over the country.

Here too...our little tiny airport here in Palm Springs got bombarded with many of the flights trying to get to LAX, Ontario and San Diego.

I drive from Hemet too Pasadena everyday and the smoke is thick throught he whole drive. My sister is severly depressed over this, Running Springs is currently burning and she is going over what she wished she had gotten, I visited her at my moms house and we both had a good cry. Not just because of her house, but the loss of such a beautiful forrest and her friends who have already lost thier homes.
