What is your little Letterhead going to be for Hallowe'en?
Samantha is Hermione from Harry Potter this year. This photo was taken at her school Fall Carnival last Friday night. My mother made her costume as she does every year.

Great Costume. My wife makes my daughters costumes. My 3 yr old will be a mouse and my 5 yr old will be a puppy. We told my 11yr old that last year was her last year to dress up.

Hi Kimberly... Cute kid & nice costume! Justis (7) is being a scary Scotsman in a kilt I bought him in Edinburra. I topped it off with a Tam that has a built-in-wig and a bloody looking mask. He made his debut in it last night at the school halloween party and caused another kid to cry. I guess that means the outfit was a success. At the moment, I am being paid to make a costume for a busy neighbor...her boy wanted to be a deck of cards so I made the face card from white coro with a vinyl Jack of Spades. The back is navy coro. Both are glued to a cardboard box. Thanks for posting this...you always have good ideas. Love-JILL

Sooo.... you expect her to trick or treat in street clothes?
I still havent stopped dressin up for Halloween.. this year I'm dressin up as a corporate suit.. well, OK, I will be at my sister's wedding Halloween night...
My favorite year was when I was 18.. One of my buds had a VW bus he restored so a group of us made our own Grateful Dead Bear costumes and we cruised around all over town.
Edit: "h" key is stuck

This was the Queen of Hearts that my dad painted for me many, many moons ago. He just used One-Shot on Canvas...it was an A-frame kinda thing that went over my head.

Cody is going as Mario and I'll be Luigi (Mario's buddy for you non-Nintendo'ers)
Our neighbourhood is about as remote as a Stephen King town on Halloween night. We now join friends of ours in a very busy area and bring our share of candy to their house to give out. The streets are so busy, they have the illision of moving on their own with thousands of bobbing freaky costumed up heads. Every house is so far decked out, it's like visiting mini museums, light shows everywhere. To heck with the candy, I love the show!
I'll post pics after Halloween. I hope they turn out!

Hi Kimberly... LOVE the pic of you. You were so lucky to have a dad that loved you enough to make you the Queen of Hearts! (my dad was a good dad, but not creative) Here are pics of a costume I sewed many years ago, too poor to buy one. It served my three kids. Left to Right...Evan in 1984, Rachael in 1989,Justis in 1996. The bee suit is still up in my attic somewhere! Love- JILL

My son and daughter (16 and 14) are dressing up in rags as the kids of a signwriter. Actually they stopped wearing costumes last year and started hanging out with their friends in town for 2-3 hours. Ahh...shaving cream, toilet paper, the smell of a burning bag of dog doo, I'm getting all teary eyed

Great coutume Kimberly, but no matter how you dress Sam, she will always look great. The Queen of hearts is something special, how about the lips?

My eight year old son is going to a themed party, supposed to be medieval, kings, jesters... he said he wanted to go as a knight. joking around, I said, "you could dress up in all black, with glow in the dark stars on you... and go as a NIGHT"
So he and I are working on a foam creasant moon shaped headwear today-
He is going as the "Dark Night"

Kim, that Queen of heart steals mine! What memories of your dad painting that! awww...That is awesome! Do you guys store your photos on computer or just in boxes and albums? I always made costumes for my kids! This year, my granddaughters are going to be: Alayna, cheerleader, Molly, the witch, with glow in the dark black lips, (overlay!), and Devyn an angel with a great angora halo that sits in midair (you know how they wrap around!) I'm going to join the crowd since they are meeting up with other friends to merge in the neighborhood. Maybe I can get someone to post last year's.

To answer your question...both. I have dozens of albums, about 10 boxes of loose photos and thousands of computer files since I got my digital camera. I try and scan the old photos when I have a chance and get them in the computer but I could live to be 140 and never finish them all.
