Hi,

I know someone will know a source for the
plastic bag style signs. They are inverted
over a wire holder, and can be read both
directions. We are going to need many of
them for a spring election.

Thanks in Advance,
Dan

Danny,
Good question!!!.....I can't beleive no one has responded to your request. I anxiously await replies to your post too, as we too have some elections happening in the spring. If you find your answer, please forward it to me, or better yet, post it here for everyone to see. Thank you.

Why not find someone that can screen print coroplast for you, and you get those wire "H" thingies that the flutes in the coroplast slide on to?

And it comes in different colors if you need to have something different than white.

I had a chuckle yesterday at work at the SPCA... helping someone clean the roll-away display cages in the front, where we put bunnies, guinea pigs, etc., I thought the material on the floor of it looked familiar...

1001 uses for Coroplast!!

In the back of signcraft magazine there is an ad for silkscreening for the trade. Also Grimco Co. will silkscreen polictical signs for you.
I figuire if the signs have to "hand" on something.Dana's suggestion is the way to go.
Hope this helps

I will gladly post, once I find them.

We screen printed some signs during the fall
election. The candidates all want the bag
style. If there were 50 candidates last
election, 47 of them had the bag style.

Thanks Deb for any help you can give.

We screen foldover polycoat signs all the time. Must of ran close to 15,000 last fall.
I'd really be curious on the pricing for short runs of 100-500 of these bag signs. I would think that the setup or short runs would be cost prohibitive. Keep us posted!

Hiya Dan,
"Plastic bags" are exactly what you are looking for. If Barry or Kevin's sugestions don't pan out, check the yellow pages or on the internet under bags-plastic.
I found 4 listed in my book alone.
On the net, you can try www.plasticbagsforyou.com. I'm sure that there's more out there. Ya just gotta look.
If you really want bags, you can try screen printing them, but that may be more headaches than they're worth.
These bags are dirt cheap... 25¢ printed in quantity. The draw back is trying to find someone who would want about 5000 of them. The plate charges are expensive too. For a 1-25 sq. in. plate, your cost is about $100. An 18"x 24" could cost you well over $600, that's just for one color!
Glenn T.,
I checked out stouse's web site & didn't find them. Are you being funny or are you suggesting that fold-over posterboard is a better alternative?
Havin' fun,
Checkers

"Plastic Bags" may be a little misleading.

These signs are seamed on three sides, just as Barry indicated. They are a much heavier
material than your standard plastic bag.

In this area, they are the dominant political
sign. They are easy and fast to put-up/take
down, and very weather resistant.
