Just received a set of hardcopies and electronic drawings from the good ol' engineering firm I deal with back in St Louis..
whew boy... haven't done this stuff since last winter.. to say I've gotten rusty is an understatement! Seems they always give me the insanely weird, time consuming chit too... friggin walls on this building look like a French Curve (you know, one of those old draftin/drawing tools) cept it slopes and does all kinds of tricky crap that glass and aluminum just ain't designed to do.
Guess that means nobody in their office wants to do it.. they're all probably sittin there saying "Give it to Mikey! Mikey likes it!"
Yeah well, Mikey likes it alright, cause he just gave himself another raise this Fall!!
If anyone needs to get a hold of me, I'll be burried under 20 pounds of paper drawings til March.
