I like to know if anyone has used a magnetic eraser on Old CD-R disks?

Did it erase the (once only info) and could you refurb the disk with new data?

Yes I have a bulk eraser and NO! it is not near my system!!!!....______#####XXXXX?????*****+++++@@@@@@$$$$$%%%%%%&&&&&,,,,,

I guess my question was stupid.
I was thinking that the info was applied like a recording tape (Reel to Reel) or cassette.

All I know is that the disk is nice and shiney and they make great coasters if you screw up.
