I am making a 4' x 5' HDO carved sign. It will be installed up on a brick wall. Do I need to attach it to MDO, dibond, or aluminum? Diane Balch -------------------- Balch Signs 1045 Raymond Rd Malta, NY 12020 518 885-9899 signs@balchsigns.com http://www.balchsigns.com

Yes, no, maybe so. (Probably not). If it's a solid shape like a rectangle or oval, and at least 1' to 1.5" thick, you should be fine. If it's got thin parts that could break off in fabrication or transport, or if there's a liklihood of people pulling on it after it's up, then maybe yes. -------------------- Joe Rees Cape Craft Signs (Cape Cod, MA) http://www.capecraft.com e-mail: joe@capecraft.com SONGPAINTER Original Sign Music by Sign People NOW AVAILABLE on CD and the proceeds go to Letterville's favorite charity!Click Here for Sound Clips!

Back it with a brick wall. Joe's right, depends on the sign. A solid piece, properly mounted on a brick wall, you shouldn't have problems with warping. -------------------- Joe Endicott NEXCOM (Navy Exchange Service Command) Signing Programs Specialist Virginia Beach, VA jeendicott@msn.com "I want to be Stereotyped....I want to be Classified."

Thank you everyone . I guess I will back it up since we are using 1" HDU and they are paying a nice price for it. Diane Balch -------------------- Balch Signs 1045 Raymond Rd Malta, NY 12020 518 885-9899 signs@balchsigns.com http://www.balchsigns.com
