Hey Terry... I agree with Jeff. Variegated is way cool stuff(even I can do it) and just looks "deeper" when cleared. I usually use the 1-Shot UV in a can, since I can't get the regular clear gloss kind anymore. Have fun. Love- JILL

Hi It's really a matter of Choice. I would do a Test. Place it on the same substrate one with and one with out, the Cleared One will be very Mellow, without very Hot. Hope that Helps.

Always clear variegated leaf.....inside or out. I did my house sign with VL 10 years ago....still good.

Indoor or outdoor, I always clear it.I even airbrush transparent colors on top of it after I've clear it. Then I clear it again. I even think that if I drove past the job on day, I might jump out of my truck and clear it again. It's a tuff world out there, the clear really protects the job and your reputation. I use 1-Shot clear.
