Anyone can provide some comparisons on these two new machines? Seems JX2000 is a better deal, more features for the same price, but is the performance better?
Thanks peter

Appreciate the info. I will make a final decision soon, and will share my experience with the machine (most likely VersaCamm) with you guys here.

I just returned from that UK Board and all the info on the Versa Camm, I can't wait to see one, I really Can't, cause if it does what these guys say it does, it's going to turn the print world on it's heads..

It does what is promised and then more - you can actually print directly on uncoated ABS and Styrene with pretty good results and the print was very scratch resistant - (not as good a quality on printing on gloss vinyl tho) the machine also scored both materials and I was able to "break" the pieces out.
I just find the size odd - 30" is not a standard for most media AFAIK so IMHO most ppl will be limited to 610mm media (24") and you cant really print edge to edge on that either , the max width of media of 760 odd is a 1.5 meter roll slit in 2.

30" vinyl and other films is very easy to get since Gerber has featured that size since the early 1980's. Not only do Gerber distributors support it but so do most of their competitors.

Graphtec JX2000 is 42" wide. IF they can change the print head to solvent ink and, even better, make it a dual head with thermal, that will be a really sweet deal. Anyway, Avery does offer 30" vinyls.
