Ok, so my panel is done. Well, it's 99% done. I just gotta clean off the smudges & fingerprints before packing it up & shipping it off. It's a mirror & I even managed to get remotely decent picts of it.
But I have a bigger problem. I have no email. My ISP was hosting my website. Took a week to get them to get everything set up straight. Last week, my email was down for a day due to server problems. Email went down again yesterday (and still isn't up), so I decided it was time to switch hosts... right now, my website and email are in limbo. Hopefully, the transfer will be complete and I'll be back up tomorrow. I decided I'd use my personal email..only it ain't working either. It's not only time for a new host, it's time for a new ISP.
So, Bruce, could you please possibly send me my shipping info via the private message thing here? Or call me tomorrow. I sent the pict to a friend in chat & had him email it in for me.

Even if I didn't have the pic in hand, I would believe you. I know what kind of person you are.
Not to worry...

Doug, if that were really the case with you, you could have went into chat, DCCed the pict to Barb while she was on the phone to Bruce just to make the deadline.

Yeah, there is NOTHING better than having access to my email from any computer on the net. Service providers come and go with better deals and the email addys do the same... with my yahoo email account (free), I have had the same one for 5 or 6 years. Hard to beat that.

I've this hotmail account for years and have never had any difficulty accessing in in time of need. Comes in very handy to have more than one email account, too. Nice to be able to split the work stuff from the personal emails.

WooHoo! Website & email are both back up & running. Got me a new host who actually has a clue.
I used to have a hotmail account and a yahoo account. I had a lot of problems with yahoo being nothing but spam and taking forever to log into. The hotmail account, I swear I was getting 20 spams a day from them, on those rare occasions when I could actually log into it without all the crap they had on their site making it time out. I went in & kept making sure that the "send me junk about..." options were all turned off and it was still a screen full of spam a day. And all the spam was from them!
The more I think about this, I think having a website host that is seperate from my isp is a good idea. My isp had a server for their dial-up accounts and email and a seperate server for the sites they hosted and the email for them. Seems wierd that both email servers were down at the same time, but whatever.
