The recpients addresses will be e-mailed out starting tomarrow evening when I get home from the shop. I am not going to let anyone know (unless they HAVE to know) who's panel they are getting. It's a surprise!
At this time, I have 10 photos mailed in. I suspect that my mailbox will be filled to the brim tomarrow morning with the late comers. Hey, the 15th ends at mignight...
The photos I have now show the immense talent that the participants have. I am extremely impressed with the quality. Some are serious, some are whimisical, some are done right hilarious!
I can hardly wait to check my e-mail so I can see what is coming next! It is so exciting.
I feel like Santa Claus right now... I'm checking list... I'm checking it twice... Who's getting a panel... who's going on ice... LOL!
We have only had three people officially drop out of the swap. Enough said...
We will be setting up a page (with the awesome support and help of Barb and Steve) of all the panels shortly. I want to make sure that there is enough time for people to ship out their panels and people get them before they are posted.
We do have some panels coming from Down Under and Across the Pond, so those will be arriving in a longer time period than the ones from the Staes and Canada. I hope the people who are recieving these panels will be understanding.
PLEASE... do not post your panels before the page is set up. It isn't fair to the people involved. Trust me, there will be plenty of time for everyone to OOOOOHHH and AHHHHH over all the panels. Let's not spoil the surprise, OK?

I'm glad to hear that Jilly! I've been a very bad girl this year, and didn't get my panel done. I really hate not coming thru in something I've committed to, and I'll REALLY hate not getting one of those cool panels.
Me bad.

Hey Bruce, just a thought, but maybe you could let the people who are receiving panels from other countries know where their panel is coming from so they expect a delay in receiving it.

Well, Jill, as long as Dana said it was OK... ohhhhhhhhhhhhh yyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeahhhhhh....
Suelynn, you bad girl... that's why you are soooo good... Hahahahahahahahahaha!
To everyone else...
PLEASE... DO NOT CALL MY SHOP WITH ALL YOUR EXCUSES!!!
I had several people call me today. They shall remain nameless. You know who you are. Please, just don't. I spent over two hours on the phone listening to a myriad of excuses... It isn't that I don't like hearing from you all because I do. Just not all at once... LOL!
The addresses are going to start going out tonight! I am sure you are all as excited as I am!
Please sent your panels as soon as possible.
Thanks all!

Ok, finally..I got my message with my panel recipient info. I was starting to worry.... Everytime I look at it, I get more attached to it. I was starting to think that I wouldn't get the info to send it out til next week and by that time, there would be no way I could part with it. At least it's going to someone who I've always thought of visiting....

last swap I decided to make 2 at once so I could keep one... the second one still isn't finished though (no self inflicted dispersion casting etc. for incentive)
This time I made 2 again, & I am also getting attached to mine, liking how it looks where it sits.

Everyone who has sent proof of their panel has had a name sent to them for them to send their panel to.
There are some procrastinators out there and a disappointing number of people who just plain quit.
Get your panels done so we can start posting the photos. You made a commitment to do a panel. No excuses.
My list is ready to post. Please make me work harder by having to remove your name from the list.
I am going to bed. It's been a very long day.

I'm adding the final touches to mine tonight...I'll give it a day to dry after I clear coat it.....
What is the address I send the photo to? Your previous email was confusing,...you said to send the pics to panels@letterville.com, but to NOT email them to that address....huh???

The panel photos are to be sent to panels@letterhead.com The photos should be saved at 72dpi. We suggest a horizonal size of 700 pixels to allow for editing.
As soon as we hear from Bruce, a page with all the panels will be posted.

Hey Steve, it's Bruce. Post the damn pictures. It's time for everyone to see the panels. And screw those who aren't done. They've had plenty of time to finish.
I'm on the phone with Kissy..I got out of bed and called and told her to post this so I don't have to get online...yeah, that's it.
Didn't work did it Steve?

Dear Bruce, As yet I have not had any information on the arrangements for a swap panel...remember you were going to let me know early, allowing time to get it over the pond, we spoke about it at the night we had dinner together in Quebec but so far nothing.
I am going to New Zealand next week and will be home early November, let me know and I'll get it done poste haste.
Thanks, take care John

Camille, do a search on panel swap and you'll get all the gory details. The short version is a bunch of us signed on, chose a type of business you'd find in a typical town (Letterville) and did signs for these businesses. We had til the 15th to do them, send pict that they were done, then we got emailed info on who to send or swap ours with.

Welcome to Letterville Camille! It's great to have such an attractive new neighbor living right across the street.
At live Letterhead and Pinhead Meets, those attending create panels that are often exchanged. We try to do the same thing here in Letterville from time to time.
Bruce Bowers and I are working on a page with all the photos from this current swap. Hope to have it available within a few days. In the meantime, here's a link to the panels produced in the last Letterville Panel Swap.

Honestly, mine was done on time, but Ryan didn't show up this weekend to post the pics for me. He said something about having to get 4 guns painted this weekend, like that was more important than posting my pics. I am just waiting for a ship to address.

geeze guys, to think I was feeling bad about my pics being submitted 3 hours after midnight, & I thought my excuse about being in Guam (where local time is even earlier then Hawaii)was lame.
Mine shipped out today!

Mine's gone too, packed in lots of syrofoam and coroplast with tons of fragile stickers. I insured it for a couple of hundred dollars so if it gets broken we can split the dough. Just kidding, please don't break it - just figured our postal system workers might be a little more careful if their butts were on the line - and it just cost me $1 per $100. I wanna see some pictures soon - I don't care if I don't have my panel yet - that way I can dream of owning each of them till mine shows up.
