I recently set up a print server using Flexi 7 and a Roland cx 24. It worked fine for a couple of weeks but now when I try to send a job it says write port error and will not work. I have no clue how to fix it. Please help, jobs are piling up.

Thanks
Richard

I had the same problem.....but mine didn't do it everytime. You didn't say what OS you're using but on xp I had to dowload an updated "hasp driver" to make the dongle work correctly. When I was getting the write port error I couldn't figure it out either. I finally put the dongle in a different usb port and it seems to have fixed it for some reason.

Hope some of this helps.

Tony

I don't have an answer, but I used to use the same combination of software and plotter. I got sick of the poor tech support and finger pointing between software, plotter, and computer companies, that I went all Gerber. That seemed to solve the problem.
