Larry, are you going to copy EVERYTHING that Jay does?
Only kidding, of course. Good luck with the new venture. It should be a great school - just look at who is heading it up.

Ray Between Jay, Noel and Paul all the great sign schools are in the U.S. With a weekend school finally opening in Canada us Canadians can afford to go and you Americans can save up to 30% on the exchange rate. Nothing better than a win, win situation I say. As For Jay, Noel and Paul when I desided to start the Banff School of Sign Arts I wanted it to be the best so I had to look to the best for my insperation. As they say "Immitation is the greatest form of flattery" Thanks for your comments, comming from you it means a lot Larry

Hi Larry, What a treat for the Letterheads, after being there and seeing your work and reading all the fine articles in the Sign Magazines, it is a terrific opportunity. If I were only younger, I'd be there in a flash. Could you reveal the name of the clear you use on your natural wood signs? Bill Riedel

Hey fellow heads Thanks for the replys. I a'm really excited about this school and am looking forward to the first class on May 4,5,6 2001. I am going to try and cover as much of the custom sign production as I can in 20 hours with an emphisis on carving, gilding and business. Jay , I've made arangments for a 3 hour course on motercycle driving. We'll start on mopeds and work our way up to the Harleys :-) Bill, your only as old as you feel and if you could ever make it it would be an honor to have you here, (as a guest instructor, of course) and if there is time at night I would be glad to do a little casting with anybody who brings thier fly rod. Larry, hope your venture is a great success. We have always had a great time hosting gold leaf workshops here intermittantly for the last 15 years. We always seem to get the greatest people who challenge us and make us better too. Fly casting is always a sidelite here too. Good luck.
