I reinstalled Incredimail's email program this past week. Used it before, and I like it's bell's and whistles...but, I'm having trouble with it.
If I go to add an emoticon or fancy backround the picture freezes up, often with overlapping images from the page underneath (am I making any sense at all?)
Is it just too much of a memory hog to run on my quaint little computer?
Dang! I am tired of moving my emails to different programs!!
Do you have the latest "patch"? Go to help, about Incredimail, and make sure the long number ends in 1184. If not, go to their site and upgrade. I'm assuming you have the latest though, if you just recently re-installed the program (assuming you did so from their website and not from a previously downloaded executable).
You may want to consider going for the "professional" version and even buying the "letter creator".....it lets you import/create your own email headers....its neat.
The professional part gives you quicker tech support (supposedly) and gets rid of all the annoying adds that alternate around the date/time area of the free version.
You didn't mention what your computer was or any of the particular specs regarding ram, processor, hard drive capacity etc....but you might want to compare them with what Incredimail recommends on their website.
Also, try their support/frequently asked questions section...maybe there's something in there about your problem....but make sure you have the latest version.

incredimail is chock full of spyware and registry edits (bugs and/or viruses). do a google search on some of the problems found with this "freeware" program. i usually discourage it's use, so use caution.
