I knew there was a reason why I started 2 panels for the swap!! The first one is toast. At least I'm still experimenting on it for the second... but I have my doubts for that one, so I cut a third out of a different substrate.
One thing I learned... unless I can figure some other tricks, not gonna do THAT again!!
Sure hope everyone else is having better luck with theirs. I know at least the third one will definately be done on time, since I would hate to have my name displayed for all the world to see to be cajoled, have dispersions cast upon, my character questioned, ridiculed, ball busted, flamed, roasted, made fun of, and generally looked down upon... especially considering who I'm married to and who is running this thing...

considering who you're married to, one wonders when you are not being cajoled, having dispersions cast upon you, your character questioned, ridiculed, ball busted, flamed, roasted, made fun of, and generally looked down upon...
Oh yeah... long as you keep tabs on that jar, that oughtta keep some of the heat off huh?

Roger, Lieutenant Dana. We read you loud and clear...
I wound up doing a third panel.
Hope you fare better than I did, but panel 3 actually was actually the best of them. No experimenting, just doing what I normally do. Was a lot more relaxed and knew it would work.
I keep my experiments well outta sight. I could be tried for "cruel and unusual punishment to people's eyes" with a few of them. I'd rather be cajoled, have dispersions cast upon, my character questioned, ridiculed, ball busted, flamed, roasted, made fun of, and generally looked down upon than be ARRESTED.

Hi,Dana! Chin up,woman...at least you volunteered to do a panel, and that is honorable in and of itself. I sent Brooce some pix of mine today, as well as attempted to email .jpgs to the o-fee-shal site. I believe that one of the objectives of the Letterville Panel Swap is to learn something new, or to impart what you already do know to others. What I learned is that I will never attempt glass-gilding again...just too tricky, and I even had help from a pro. (we did have fun tho) My panel, for better or worse, is ready to go. I hope whomever receives it can tell that I put love into it, even tho it might look kinda shabby. Love- JILL
