We have moved 90% of our tools and STUFF into the new shop. The shelving units are all set up and the boxes and boxes and boxes are everywhere!

I'm finding stuff I only vaguely remember. Some of it has been in storage for the last 7 years. [Smile]

True to form I put up some of my decorations first, right after the shelving units. The sign collection as the first up. And some cools stuff there is too. A number of years ago I came across a huge Canada sign from Expo 86. THe price was right... FREE! I gave away the C and two of the A's. That left me with 'd' 'a' and an 'n'... all six feet tall. They languished for years in the back yard, but now they are up on the wall as I envisioned them so many years ago. There's no doubt who's shop you are in when you go in the big steel doors. [Smile]

And I found a whole bunch of other stuff too. One notable collection was the carpenter squares. I counted 7 so far. I don't use them very often but I have more than the average guy. Funny. Every time my dad comes and gives me a hand on one of my projects he always brings his tools. And every time he works with me he notices that there isn't a square in my tool trailer. So he leaves me his when the job is done. He left one this time too. [Smile] So I took the rustiest four and screwed them to the wall. I'll put more up there as I find them too. I'll keep a few on the shelf, just in case I get a hankering to build something square. And every time I look up above the staff break area I'll have to smile.

There's still scores of boxes to go through. But it's starting to look like MY shop at last. [Smile]

That's funny.

Sorry if I havn't been paying close enough attention, but have you mentioned how long you've been dreaming of this shop? The bible says: the desire accomplished is sweet to the soul. And I'll bet this shop is SWEET to the soul.
