Every so often I have a bad hair day. They don't happen very often, but then again I don't have that much hair either.
I don't know what brought it on... might have been the missing electrical contractor.... and it's been four days he's been promising to get things together on the new building... but another no show. I had to cancel my attending the Butler workshop in Texas too... couldn't get the airmile flights I've been trying for. It might have been the pressure of getting into the new shop... so much to do - so little time. There were lots of things that didn't go nearly right today. Who knows what triggered it.
Doesn't even matter.
The new shop is looking fine. A I think there's room for all my tools and even still LOTS and LOTS of room to work after that. (I promise to take some pics tomorrow)
I didn't yell at anybody today... didn't take my bad mood out on anybody, I just kept my head down and kept busy.
At supper time I got an unexpected phone call from my youngest crew member. He's in grade 12. Dave cheered me up instantly. This guy is so eager to please, so full of enthusiasm, ALWAYS.
Turns out he has a day off school tomorrow and wants to come help out. The rest of the crew will be there too as well. I think we'll clean out the storage unit tomorrow, and the old garage too. There should be enough time to get just about everything in place in the new shop....
I think I'll buy donuts and Cokes for everyone... my treat on a great day.
Once in a while I need to remind myself that I AM living the dream. If it were easy then everyone would do it.

Dan called me last night and canceled his spot for the Texas Butler Workshop. That just extended his bad day all the way down to me. That negative stuff is contagious.
Dan is going to owe me one of those donuts and a Coke the next time we meet.

Dan, I'm sure today will make up for yesterday. I think your bad days are still better than most peoples good days..... You have the courage and drive to fulfill your fantasies, while most others just sit in their armchair and wish. For every hiccup, there comes another rainbow. Have a great day today. Sue

Dan, ever consider it actually may be the Coke? Tim Horton's does a great job on my hair. I'm spilling the stuff all the time all over me while driving. Maybe you should take up coffee after all.
As for me when in a bad mood, I just go to Cultus Lake to camp again. The moment I see abit of a creative sculpture of yours as we drive by, it makes me smile immediately.
