A man and his wife are having an argument over who should brew the coffee in the morning. The wife says, "You should do it. You get up first and then we don't have to wait so long for our coffee." The husband says, "You should do it. You are in charge of the cooking around here. It's your job and I can just wait for my coffee." The wife says, "No, you should do it. And besides, it says in the Bible that the man should do the coffee." The husband replies, "I can't believe that! Show me where it says THAT in the Bible!" So she fetches the Bible, turns to the New Testament and shows him that indeed, at the top of several of the pages it says....

I fix that coffe every morning and "she" comes in smiling evey morning...except on the mornings I forget to put the grounds in...on a few occassions I have forgotten the water and on one occassion I forgot to put the pot back under the filter after turning it on to brew...but never the less I fix the coffee every morning.

Living alone means I make my own coffee... first I put water on to boil, then grind the beans (Costa Rican "Freedom" Roast) and put it in the "Freedom" press, go to the front porch for the paper, come back, water's boiling, pour water into the pot, plunge, coffee's ready. Ahhhh...
Yes, this is a tongue-in-cheek reference to that pathetic nonsense about "Freedom Fries". I just coudn't resist. Makes damn good coffee, though.
