A few months ago, I knocked out a couple of cheapie magnetics for a guy with little money. He shows up today and wants his money back because he's getting no business. I've long since given up trying to explain the value of the initial sign purchase, because you can't make any headway to someone that hasn't a clue in the first place. Well, I didn't explain anything. I didn't give him his money back. I DID offer to shatter his kneecaps!

Let's see, if he's got no business now, and the signs are clearly responsible for that (therefore worth LESS than he paid for them), then if he ever does get some jobs, are the signs worth MORE than he paid for them? He's probably on his way to the printers next to get his money back for the useless business cards he had printed. Then to the tech school that 'trained' this superstar to be a whatever-he-is, for another refund.
I don't think he needs a sign at all - he needs an employer. A real patient one. By the way, what does he do?

I'd have kept the money and given him a FREE sign...
It would have said "LOSER" and would come complete with thumbtack to secure it to his forehead.
As long as you're giving money away please remit a money order for $50.00 for this advise...send it to Steve and Barb for my taxes they will advise me when it has arrived

I have never heard of a magnetic sign not getting some one some work...
I was doing some lettering for a logger's pickup.. and while doing it some other dude came by and contracted the logger. Hmmmmm talk about impressed.. He was so hapy to pay me then. before, he tried to get me to barter..

What a pendejo! Yeah, and I want my money back from Jenny Craig.I think I would have grapped the guy by the ear and showed him the lettering on my own truck. I would have said " See Stupid, no magnectic piece of crap signs. I have a real business with real signs." Then I would try to sell him a real signjob at a (Non-Existant) discount. Oh yeah, I can deal with all as------! I used to be a truck stop waitress for a few years.

That's A Real Nimrod! The thing is he meant it. I Have Gotten into some serious Trouble,In my Past By putting him in the Hospital for 6 to 8 weeks.
