We faired pretty well. A few warehouses got their roof's torn off and a few houses ended up with a tree in a bedroom or two.
The eye passed us about 60 miles due East of us so we were pretty fortunate.
About the only damage we got was where some water somehow got pushed under the exterior walls and doors. Some carpet got soaked and that was about it. We had taken all of the computers, plotters and phones out of the shop and put them in the van for safe keeping at home in case we did get flooded. It has taken us the entire morning to get everything plugged back in and working today.
The work the city had done on the waterways paid off. There was virtually no flooding here. Folks in other towns weren't so lucky.
But, all in all, North Carolina did much better this time compared to when Fran and Floyd hit.
Has anyone heard if Fred Floyd and Scott Pagan's parents are OK? I would imagine they got hit much harder than we did.

Good to hear from you, Glenn, and glad you didn't get whupped too bad for a change. You've had your lifetime share of bad weather disasters.

Just caught the news and it looks like Baltimore took it pretty hard in the flooding department.
Met a lot of great folks at FKAB who were in Isabel's path today. With a little luck, all they have to worry about is a few more signs to replace from windy conditions.
