I see the facts, figures, strategies of pricing here, all seem to be valid in their own poetic justice. We need to get our prices up if all possible, but, must remember that there are variables to this equation, not to forget: Taking all of this in mind, we also have to make our own judgement calls based upon each and every customer, just as the variables include, but not limited to: the individual customer as a complex human being with specific needs. Along with that follows as our material cost, labor, market, region, and going rate of that region, our reputation, etc. Even if we ideally use our reputation, well, that is fine, but, we cannot exclude other factors that some of us use to make a living. I am defending the fact that magnetics are as much work for us in many ways and can be classed as a more expensive product (labor and materials), but don't forget the fact that we don't have to touch a customer's vehicle to apply, and having a smaller space to work can work with small pieces of magnetics too, on a lettering bench instead of crouching down to letter a vehicle, of course. For some of us, we like the convenience of not having to tie up a customer's truck, or wait on a vehicle to be picked up, etc. My point, there is more than meets the eye on pricing.
