Hello Everyone,

I have a font buying question.

I thought for sure I had the font "Flamenco" on my computer. I know I have put that style on boats before, so I promised a customer I would use it for some vinyl he wants made. Well, I remember now that I hand painted the boats and just drew my patterns from the Letraset book I have.

Other than buying from Sign DNA, I have never bought fonts before (just what came on the sign software I have). Could someone recommend a good place to buy True Type and Type 1 fonts?

I know places have been mentioned in the past on the Bullboard. I would like to order soon, but wanted to check with those who have ordered fonts before. It's nice to get good referrels first. I have seen some bad imitations of name fonts and want to avoid any problems if possible.

Thanks for your time.

Pam

ww.letterheadfonts.com has a pretty cool selection and they're nice to deal with besides.

Flamenco is a standard TTF font when you get CorelDraw.

If you only did a default installation of CorelDraw, it may not be on your system. Just install the font from the Corel setup disc, if you have it, or copy it from the disc to C:/windows/fonts

Hope this helps.

Thank you for the replies. I was unable to open the myfonts.com website earlier today, but was able to open it with the help of Fred's post.

Ray, I do have Corel Draw 8, but it is not on the system so I just have to find my disk I guess and install it. (find the disk is the problem now.) I know it's here somewhere. That's what I get for cleaning the office this weekend. (never do that).

Thank you everyone for taking the time to reply. I will keep these websites on hand for future reference.

Thanks Ray, you have saved me about $20. This is such a great website, and worth the yearly taxes I pay.
