Some customers ask how we can stand the smell-
we can't smell it of course. Has anyone installed
an air purifier or something of that nature with
any success? Thanks Gene

This may help answer your question.

I have AirSource at home and work.

I use a Ozone type machine for smells. I run it only at night when no one is here. Some say it is safe for use around people. However, I believe there is a risk when people are around breathing ozone used to clean the air.. If it kills bacteria and oxidizes smells then.. whats it doing to the lungs?

So, to be safe
The machine starts at midnight and shuts off at 5 am. The air is nice smelling for the day.

I dont notice the smell, even vinyl can't overpower the smell of pet dander. [Smile]

I use a Living air unit, no filters and it runs 24 hours a day. No paint smell, no pet smell, no smoke smell. Works great and keeps the dust at ground level.

I use an Ozone / ionization unit that is big enough to knock the smoke right out of a busy bar.

I run it on low all day and night. If the 'smell' demands it, it gets cranked up.

I don't worry about the ozone. There is plenty of that good stuff outdoors. How do you think 'nature' continually cleans up our smells?
Ozone.

We keep several 20" box fans running 24/7 with a 20" NaturalAire filter held to the back with a bungee cord. This keeps smells in check and also does a good job with dust.

Filters get replaced about once a month and cost about $3 each at Home Depot.

That vinyl smell to me is just like the Chicken house smell to a chicken farmer...M-O-N-E-Y . It stinks to everyone else.
