The Instant Message feature lets you send text in a pop up box to those logged into Letterville.
You click on the "im" link up at the top right side of the bullboard (its tiny and you might not see it)
When you click the link it takes you to a list of people logged on. They have little boxes by their names. put a check in one box or all of them and then go to the bottom of the page and type in your message and hit send.
But...the program kicks you out after you send a message and you end up back at the bullboard. So if you want to send another message, you got to go through the wole process again.
Then it does this to your view of the bullboard:
Now to get rid of the double merchant page, I have to exit out of Letterville and then come back in.
Seems like this feature needs to be more user friendly IMO.

Thats odd. I don't get the double left side menu. I do go back to where I was though instead of staying in instant messaging. Maybe that's to prevent IM from being used as a chat room.
