Back home after a driving marathon.. 7328 kms total in 9 days (6 driving days). I had a great trip, I got to meet a bunch of really nice people on the last day of FKAB, hopefully I'll get to do the entire meet next time.. and there WILL be a next time. This was the first meet that I got to attend (well, partially attend anyway) I just couldn't get over how familiar and friendly all these strangers were... I read in someones post a while ago that "letterheads weren't strangers, just friends I've yet to meet" well that summed up my impression of the meet except that now I've met a few
Drove from Labrador, took detour to Québec for the meet, then went on through New Brunswick and Nova Scotia to North Sydney, Cape Breton to take the six hour ferry to Newfoundland. Drove from Port-aux-Basques across the Island to St. John's to pick up my daughter. I stopped by Neil Butler's place and missed him again, "Out Golfing" his Mrs. said ... -another friend I've yet to meet- .. then we drove back across the Island, hopped on the ferry and went on to Montreal to relocate my daughter and to attend my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary, then home again to Labrador... Stopped by the casino in La Malbaie again, this time to return to them the $100 I'd won a few weeks ago, -such is life-

Big place isn't it? Just think you only covered about 1/3 of the width of the country and less than half of the height! It sounds like you did a lot of backtracking to get to Montreal.

Hey Mike sorry I missed you, but these golf tournaments are mandatory, when a customer asks you to play in these, I have to make the sacrifice and force myself from the shop, it's hard, but I manage to get it done. lol.
