There was a fireworks display in Brisbane last Saturday night with a finale of 2 F111's doing a dump and burn, these pics were taken by the Airforce photographer. I thought a few aviation buffs might enjoy pictures of the spectacle. I was too lazy to resize the images, you might need to wait a few moments.

Great pics Dave, but is this where our taxes are being spent whilst the health care system is failing??

Wow! (wow is to the pictures, and to the fact that every response so far is from someone whose name starts with 'D', including three Daves.)
Army Dave, could you get the ink to Dave Fisher's place? I'll collect it from there, to take to Cairns for you. Or maybe Dave could get it to my parents' place, & I'll get it from there in a couple of weeks.

I worked FB-111's in the Air Force for 8 years. I did a lot of afterburner runs in the cockpit, and on the ground next to and under the engine. Talk about some serious power and energy!! They literally make your teeth tingle, and at 60,000 lbs of fuel per hour (150 gals per minute), they are expensive to run. Lots of fun. Bob K.
