An Arizona solvent injet printer salesman is coming to the shop tomorrow. We are up in the air between a wide format thermal and a wide format solvent inkjet. Kind of partial to the Summa on the thermal end, but have no real idea about the solvent end. On paper and on the web they all sound/look good. Will probably wait until after the Atlantic City show to decide which way to go, but could use any input from knowledgeable members of the board. Also looking at Soljet(?).
Thanks in advance for any advice/suggestions.

We just got (today!) a NUR Fresco 10' wide inkjet printer at the inflatable company I work at. It weighs 5 TONS! The movers got it in place today (had to remove part a wall to get it in the print room) and the NUR rep is doing final assembly & testing this week. It is made in the same factory where they make Israeli tanks (they say...). We are selling our 6' VUTEK inkjet.
William, I wouldn't jump on that Arizona right away. They were the only "real" semi-affordable solvent printer two and three years ago, but there are so many others available today, you need to look around.
The Mimaki JV3 is really decent for only $30K and I really think the DGI is better than the Arizona 90 and their newer models are probably better than the 180.
The Summa DC3 is an excellent thermal printer, but you will be only printing to vinyl, so if that is all you plan to do, then it's a great machine.
I've been researching the new Roland EX a lot lately, do check out the thread from last week on it. It's a really nice machine and if it proves itself in the field, it will kick the Arizona's a** at 450 dpi at 300 sq ft per hour.
Jeremy, I'd love to hear why you chose that NUR (it's a good printer). Was it your first choice to upgrade from the 6' VUTEk? What other printers did you evaluate? How long did you have that VUTEk and how did you like it? You can post here or email me, I'm always trying to gather as much info on all the printers as I can...

I did not choose anything- You would have to ask my boss. It is a whole different part of the company that deals with the printing. I am just a grunt sign painter/airbrusher there. I do know the ink and print heads are cheaper on the NUR than the VUTEK.I guess the NUR cost almost $300,000 (Yes, three hundred thousand)
