Just got back from our 25th wedding vacation. We started the vacation with the Tomahawk meet. From there we traveled to Lake Superior and the north woods of Wisconsin and the UP of Michigan. We crossed the Mackinaw Bridge into lower Michigan and traveled along the western coast of that state and back home. We stopped to see Roger Manley in Ludington, Michigan and saw the progress on his newly remodeled shop.
To Laurie and Andy Goretski: Thanks you and your support staff for putting on a fantastic meet. We had a blast. The scenery was unbelievable. The weather was great. All the letterheads (too many to mention) and vendors made for a special meet that we will always remember. We especially enjoyed the magician, the pontoon ride, the campfire and late night bonding. The bands were great. The Harley tour was great. Everything was to the inth degree. I don't know how you put on such a great meet, but it put us in a super mood and we had a wonderful time through the rest of the vacation.
Now we're back and thoroughly invigorated. Our great customers have been very patient. We could go on and on, but there's messages to return and work to be done. Thanks again!!!!!!!!

Steve, There should be photos coming your way soon. Kathy will be sending them to you. She started to go thru them today and said she will try to have something by Friday. . . .
Bill and Jane, glad you had a great time traveling for your anniversary. Your trip sounds a lot like the honeymoon trip we did. Excellent choice for a travel route!

Bill & Jane, I'm very dissapointed. Not only did I not meet you at Tomahawk, but you probably drove within a block of my shop on your way through the U.P. If I'd met you in Tomahawk, you would have had a nice rest, coffee, beer, whatever break in beautiful Crystal Falls at my shop. Oh well, maybe next time.

Dave, now I wish I would have introduced you to Jane and Bill. I was schmoozing with everyone trying to learn as much as I can. Jane was busy working on her beautiful watercolors at the meet, and Bill was with Jane or checking things out with the other painters. Just have to get with them another time, soon! I am planning to go down to see their shop when I get caught up on life, or maybe sooner. You missed a lot if you missed them, Bill gave me a lot of tips. Dave, I wish I would have kept up with you, as you raced around doing so much. We did have fun talking for hours and learned a lot about each other and our trade. Thanks for spending the time helping me look for a digital camera in Rhinelander the first night, even though that special camera hadn't been stocked yet. Wish we all lived closer to each other. (just remember I live in between you two!)
