My son started college in Boiling Springs which is between Shelby and Gaffney. He's hoping to sell some vinyl truck lettering and do perhaps two trucks a month. I can generate some files for him and hope to find someone close by that could cut them for him without feeling their toes stepped on. My wife finds it a contradiction in my values to be encourage Jake as a snapper, but I took him to all the local shops in the phonebook looking for work first. He doesn't want to invest in a cutter in his dorm room yet, so someone close by would be a great help. There has been a wonderful offer that is an hour and a half away, but that would eat into the funds he needs to live on. Any responses appreciated. Thanks

Boy, why doesn't that offer surprise me? Because that is kind of person Jimmy is. He is a true credit to the Craft!
Hoping all is well with you, Jimmy!

Rick, I was raised about 10 miles from Boiling Springs...I have family there and know a lot of people there. My shop is about 50 miles away from Boiling Springs. I would be willing to help you and your son out any way I can. My parents still live about 10 miles away from the school. Just let me know what I can do to help....signwise...moving(relocating) whatever.
Also, I've been thinking about hiring some part time help.
