Haven't noticed anything serious at this end Alf. We are watching closer than usual. The new IM and chat hacks do place additional demands on the BB and the database that controls it. On a busy BB like Lettervilles, this could create a slowdown. Too early to tell at this point.

My whole internet experience for the past couple of days seems to be dragging.

We had some trouble today but thought it was our connection (and still may be). Slow opening and a couple of times couldn't even open up the BB. The computer said we were in an "unknown zone" as opposed to "Internet." Bob & Jen

The only time it seems too slow is when that Avery animated gif is loading. You know, the one with the hand and squeegee up top? I wish there was a way to make it load faster. Next time it seems slow, look down the bottom (in status bar)and see what item is loading. The ad is "ezbanner1.gif". Every time it comes around in its sequence, just have to sit back and wait for it to cycle thru once. I have a copy in every internet temp directory and it still makes me wait every time it loads. Aint nothing you can do but wait. How can I by-pass that thing, with a dialup modem?
