For the group that put their hands up to stay at the YHA. I have booked the Cairns Central YHA on McLeod St from Thurs to Mon. Cost is $23.50 pp pn ($94 in total pp). It's booked in my name. You will need to supply your own towels. There is a Shuttle bus that costs $7.50 from the airport.
On another note, if anyone driving up from Bris or will be passing through, can you let me know if you can fit in a couple cans of printing ink.

Dave, we'll be driving up, tho' cheap accommodation for the tribe is still being sought, as is a farm sitter for here! If you can get the ink to Toowoomba,we'll bring it up for you. On the other hand, I may get down to Brissie in September sometime. Best wishes

sorry bro i've been away down south for a bit so you haven't been able to get hold of me
now what the go with the room is...
cause of the extra saa meeting happening in cairns before letterheads a few of us have to be there a bit longer...
darren lissa devo and I won't be staying in the dorm now but i've organised for Barb Enright, who is traveling up with Jordo and Mark Vincent, who both needed a bed, to take 2 of ours that you had booked I saw then yesterday to confirm
plus Tony Annabell from woolongong needed a bed so he will be able to use one other one...
I told suzy on tuesday before i left for the meeting in brissy that we still had one bed left to fill so she has that in hand to tell someone about
phew... just when you think it's safe to go back in the water
sorry again about not talking to you first but i figured it was better to let you know after i had filled the beds than before and this all happened really quickly mate
