Anyone have any idea how I might find a Rotary International Logo?
The local chapter has asked me to make a banner for them (pro bono, of course) and want a Rotary Logo on it. The problem is, according to the Rotary HQ, I'm not an Approved/Licensed Vendor of Rotary merchandise so I can not get a logo.
I told her I'd be willing to pay, but there is a bib application with approval time involved and I need the banner tomorrow.
Help, anyone?

Mark, tell your customer to provide you with their advertising "slick". The copy ready black and white artwork they use for their fliers, letterhead, breakfast invites, etc. Scan it and make it work for you. I got mine from the president of our local chapter. I just looked in my files and do not have it anymore. (sorry).

I can't believe the balls some people have......completly blows me away.........
They ask you to do a "FREE" banner for them with "Their" logo on it.....
What's wrong with this picture.....??
"Your" Time,...... "Your" material, .....and "YOU" are given the "privledge" of running around trying to locate what they should hand you on a silver platter in some kind of small token of their gratitude........and they tell You, you can't get a copy of their logo because you aren't "APPROVED"...........??????
Do you know how long it would take to tell them how far up their a** they could shove that banner......?? It would take a lot less time, and be a hell of a lot more gratifying , I guarantee ya...
Things like this really push some of my buttons............
Free jobs like that will undoubtly bring in a lot more free jobs just like it........
All that being said.......I'm sure someone here will be able to help you........There's gotta be a pic of it somewhere, in someones morgue, if you're sure you want to go ahead with this "job".
I don't happen have a copy, or I'd send it to you..........Sorry !!

I would guess that it has been mentioned at least a couple of hundred times on this bullboard.
You can also use the search feature of the bullboard and discover about 7 or 8 MORE free logo sites. With all of these sites bookmarked a person would rarely have to post a request for a logo here when it is only a matter a couple of clicks and 30 seconds to get whatever logo they want.
By the way, the one website I mentioned had 32 individual vector files containing the Rotary logo!!

Okay CJ, you can quit now---I was the last fella you needed to convince that you are a total bad A$$.
I do understand the point you made......but there is such a thing as generating goodwill and positive "word of Mouth" ESPECIALLY if you are a relatively new business.
There just ain't much point in you or anyone else going off talking about how far &%)&^%^% can shove *&&^%%^up his ^%&(%^. It is just uncalled for. Yess opinions and rear ends have that one thing in common, but just6 cause you have one doesn't mean we all need to be made aware of it.!

No, CJ I got yer point, I just don't completely agree with it.
Granted I have told my share of Mooching groups to go jump too....Just the other day the local civic club came in wanting free lettering for their annual bull ride.....I gave some stuff charged for others.....then they sent another guy in asking for more free stuff...I politely told them that if they wanted to consider letting us, the only local screenprinter, at least get to BID doing their t-shirt printing I would be glad to donate more stuff....
So I do get what you mean, I just don't care for the extremity to which you say you take it, or the way in which you convey your opinions in the first place.

Good question--too bad you didn't think about that before you posted on this thread in the first place.
I'm done CJ...I'm not out for blood , but GEEZ you come on strong! we all have different working environments, methods and skills, but we have to have common respect. I haven't walked your path, or mark's you ain't been on mine.
sorry if I added to the downward spiral, but negativity in general causes that.
Let's just quit where we are while we're still grinnin'
