One of the advantages of living near the Canadian border is CBC broadcasts. Gordon Lightfoot concert is on now. Even in his weakened condition, a great singer and balladier.

He plays in PRESCOTT every 2-3 years or so. I have been to his last three, and one earlier concert in Phoenix in the early 70s, the night he introduced CAREFREE HIGHWAY....KOOOOOL

I watched Shania too. I may not be her biggest fan, but the grand-daughter has been over since the weekend, so it was either that, disney channel or animal planet, so I enjoyed the music very much... (not bad scenery either)

Rick, the weakened condition as far as I can gather is a long recovery from abdominal surgery. From another BB, they were talking about a surgery back in sept. 2002, for an aneurysm which could take all of his 2003 tour away. I didn't know about it, but noticed right away the loss of strength in his voice, especially seemed to me using only his vocal cords.
