JOB DISCRIPTION: 10 ft x 37 ft metal sign board 12 ft above ground level to bottom of sign. sign needs old loose paint scraped off, some bare spots will require grinding, whole sign will require sanding, primer 2 coats, background color enamel 2 coats. note: i wrote this up as half the job. once all that is done then there are 2 logos 8 ft x 8 ft on both ends(simple logos 1-2 color)center will have 3-4 lines of text plain block letters one color. he took proposal to client....now get this....they expected to get this done for $2000!!!!! they also said that they wanted to get another quote from a couple other sign painters.....ill tell ya what i made proposal for after a few post....ok?

2 hours for design, approx. one week of workdays to do the job, one shot lettering enamel for the lettering (not vinyl). Depending on the equipment the shop has at its disposal, a danger factor could be added.

adding new material is not an option, this is a score board at a ball park. its a built box. THE OLD WALLDOGERS win.....i priced it at $10 a sq.ft. basiclly. $3703.00 was the total when i got to the bottom. i did the 370 x $10 for base, then i took it apart as to , labor, materials, design and scaffold rental. havent heard the outcome yet, but mark(my parntner) said he was glad we did a breakout proposal, the guy was lookin at it like he knew what he reading. WE SHALL SEE WHO GETS THE WORK....thanks to all just wanted to verifiy to myself and to mark that we aint over the top on the price. he is a damn hard worker and did this sign 8-9 yrs ago(before we met) for this major corp....and he charged them $1500!!!!!! and at that time it was just wash down and repaint.
