We are refurbishing clock faces for Canada Post.
These faces(3'in diameter) are made of 3/4" white glass with incised letters painted flat black. What is the best paint for the job. Whatever they used before looks like black shoe polish. It wipes off with your hands.
Any ideas would be great.

Use Stazon Glass Paint. It was developed for use to black out neon tubes. Works great on glass for lettering outlines and filling in. It dies smell strong so be warned.
Look for it at your local supply house that woould deal in neon supplies.
Have a great one!
