I have a project to do and need to match an existing panel . The sample seems to be a Masonite material with a semi-gloss black surface and a smooth back. It is 3/16" thick. Anyone know a supplier for this material?
Also thanks to those who responded to my recent post about acrylic latex paint. I'll gives your suggestions a try. The recent post and replies about water-based paints was also a good one.

any lumber yard should have masonite/marlite(sp?)...i use that stuff to do vitreous flux watercolors...it doesn't last well outside though..unless maybe you finish the back.
