How about a sign painter in the country with a DRUM SET in the shop?
The neighbors never gripe about the noise (too far away) You get to vent when having a bad day and best of all ...If you aren't a good drummer, you can always take up milking cows!

The children set up a stand to sell tomatoes, their uncle grew more than he could use. I think they cleared more than 20 bucks the first day, not bad for ages 11 and under. I wanted to be sure they were being extra thankful to their customers. I told them to say "thank YOU" as the buyer was leaving. I told them that some places you couldn't sell things when and where you want. In those places, the government owns the houses, the land, why the GOVERMENT EVEN OWNS THE TOMATOES!
Just doing my part to make them into junior capitalists. If I had been swifter on my feet, I would have said: "Remember kids, when you hear names like Senator Kenedy, or Hilary Clinton, THAT'S BAD. When you hear names like Rush Limbaugh, that's good. (Just kidding, sort of)
There you have it folks, todays...

Ahhh. Harvest time in Montana. The Flathead Cherries have ripened, been picked and are in the stores and in the little roadside stands, the Blueberries are ripe in the mountains above Lost Prairie, the Grouse are picking around at the Huckleberries. One Grouse in particular is rustling through the late summer grasses on the forest floor, quickly plucking the Huckleberries from their slender stems and making the little chuckling sounds they are wont to do.... and, with my .22, I slowwwwly draw down on that little sucker............
MAN!! They taste GREAT!!
heh...............

If'n ya spayel lak Michael Boone.....ya mus be a redneck. That sounds like a fine recipe Michael.
Country sign man here too. The tupelo trees in the creek swamp, here by the shop, blossom for a very short time. We let a friend of ours put his bees down by the creek(pronounced "creeeeeeek" with a long "e"). He supplies us with tupelo honey. Best honey in the world. Sweet and strong.
We have wild blueberries, huckleberries in the woods. Blackberries by the pastures. Dewberries are done. The garden is done. Sweet corn, lima beans, t'maters, p'taters, okree, peas, yeller squash.......mmmmmmm mmmmmmm.
My four calves are getting out, three bulls and a heifer. I will have to put up a 'lectric fence, put out a creep feeder. The kids will show some of the calves this year at the fair.
Deer meat this fall/winter. My son is deadly with his compound bow.
