Just thought I would bring anyone with the interest up to speed. I had a nice conversation with Peter Hyatt this afternoon. I think we can make things turnaround.

Rather than getting my my feathers ruffled, I shut my trap and heard what he had to say.

I guess I may of been a little too focused on what the defination of what a "demo" was.

So, for now, I guess it's OK to say that things are okee dokee.

Doug,

What do I mean when I say okee dokee....well, it's like this, while I will openly admit my heart is not in this 100%, I still feel like I was mis lead, life is too short to be stewing. I have a fullitme job (I'm a firefighter full-time with 7 years until retirment, should I so choose!) I have a home and a 15 month old Son, so, do I put all me energy into fighting a losing battle, or just say to hell with it and move on.

I choose to move on. I know, I am nuts according to some folks, I have gotten a few e mails telling me so.

You gotta pick your battles! I have just finished spending some quality time with my Son in his sandbox, that's where I plan to put my efforts, building my business, preparing for the future and seeing my future grow up!

Hope this makes sense.

the purpose of my question was that since the troubles you had were spelled out in great detail, I thought you might share what they have done to make things right as that would be some good publicity that they might have earned by resolving the issue with you. By the reply you've just posted here though, it seems like you were not as satisfied in the end as I had hoped by your original comments, so maybe there is no particularilly "good publicity" for them at this point after all. Anyway that was the meaning of my cryptic question.

Doug,

No, I am not 100% happy.(not even 50%) Really, there was no real offer except to pay a very small portion of my renewal of my warranty on my Envision 375. Any way you slice the cake, I am still stuck with a 90 day waiting period. Glad I was smart enough to finally call Gerber myself. As you might recall, I was assured that my Envision 375 was covered, (Dist area manager said so) Gerber says no, who you gonna beleive?!!

And no offer whatsoever on the whole "demo" Edge deal.

So, I am moving on, got more important things to do and folks to spend time with.

If they call and mave me a steller offer, I will be happy as heck to let the world know!! (but don't hold your breath......)

Joe,

As live in Okeechobee, I have the true story on :OKEE- DOKEY" it's a small town about 35 miles north of Okeechobee and a few miles west of that other thriving South Florida metropolis Yee Haw Junction!

As far as the origins of the name, let's just say when the town was named, the Donkey was standing in Yee Haw facing east!
