When I do layouts in illustrator and import them into VMP, any circles in the layout have a small sharp corner on all four sides. Instead of being perfectly round, there is a small sharp point there. Any ideas?
Also, I noticed that when importing some clipart stuff, like scrolls, etc. they are sometimes distorted a little. Any help will be followed by my utmost admiration. [Smile]

Not sure if this would help, but I used to have the same problem exporting from Corel Draw. I found that if I had the layout too small in Corel and resized in Signlab, I would get jaggy edges. Now I design at actual size in Corel and I haven't had the problem since.

When you import into VMP you’ll notice an option to ‘Reduce Nodes’ (this option’s location will vary between versions).

Uncheck this (switch it off) and you should find the problem will be corrected…

If not write me and send a sample file to: tech@future-1.com

Thanks,

Yep, worked great! Now, the same thing happens when I use the shapes tool to draw out circles.
Is there a setting to change the reduce nodes on that? Ive looked but didnt see anything.
Thanks for the help for sure!
