Not taking anything away from evectorize.com but you may also want to look at Viking Arts. I've been using them for about a month now and have been very please.
Their rates are less than half what evectorize charges and every job, so far, has been sent to me the day after I submitted it to them.

Well. ...see there Ray, Mike might be right; though, I would NEVEREVER have expected it. When Mike gets buried in work & needs to outsource, or just plane wants to, he can now call Steve as well as the other sources to get his work done. Not a bad plan, everyone wins.
I think I heard the phrase "Never say never" a few times along the way too.
I've seen a few logos etc. I'd "NEVER" attempt to vectorize. Projector & knife, projector & pounce, a call to Steve etc.

I checked out evectors' site & it looks like they use Eurovector, or a similar program. That's what I have & the same options as them. Digitizing is fun & see no reason to farm out this service. This is something I can do quite well. But not for those prices. $5.00 for a vector (at Viking)? What kind of "sweatshop" these places runnin'? I'm sure the type of logo Dave mentioned would most likely cost more than what they advertise.
As with any scanned artwork, the results depend on the quality of the original. If it is not camera-ready quality or if the raster image is too fuzzy, then any result is just a best guess. There might be additional charges in that event. Just a hunch.

Well Bill, I've used Viking three times recently and each time they've returned me exceptional work for very little money ($6, $16, and $25) the next day.
They're located in PA and I guess they've gotten ahold of some folks who don't require the kind of hourly rates I need to get if I do it myself. The $25 job would have taken me 4 to 6 hours to hand digitize. I digitize commercial clip art as part of how I earn my living and at those rates .... with the quality being very good .... I wouldn't take up my own time when I can just send it off to them.
