Bob beat us all to the punch. Down here in Texas, it seems Davida was used on just about every other Mexican food restaurant during the '80s. I sure had my fill of that typeface, although I still like to fill up on the Mexican food. Davida evokes a Pavlovian response in me. I see the font and I can taste the enchiladas at the buffet. Maybe the Acadian influence kept that font from being over used in your locale. The typographic aesthetics in your area may thus be superior, but think of all the good ol' artery hardening cholesterol you've missed out on. Cardiologists need to make a living, too. -------------------- David Harding A Sign of Excellence Carrollton, TX
