I was wondering if anyone knows where I can purchase a clip art CD with good clean barbed wire on it. I have a CD with barbed wire on it but it doesn't look very good. Please help me out.

Let me be the first to say hello and welcome to Letterville. A web search will probably give you some results. If you are able to draw a little and have a scanner... or create it in your sign program, that should be an easy thing to do. Good luck.

man i cant believe this....people asking for clip-art barbed wire??? my gawd..is there absolutly no art involved in decaling or printing anymore..ITS A SIMPLE THING HERE..cant anyone draw.? is everything now gotten off of discs? will there not be art schools in the future, but merely classes to teach you how to get the art from trained professionals on sign boards via the internet? my-my sadness grips me thismorning...hope old paint dont read this request,,there will be hell to pay if he does...
How long would it take for someone to set up vinyl, or paint, this image.
A Tazmanian Devil pushing a rototiller powered by a V8 engine with side pipes and smoke with the words "Troy built" on the engine's valve covers for a hood of a Camaro in full color
Gary, I think I see the point you are trying to make. There is barbed wire clip art out there and the request to purchase it is fine to me. Not everyone draws by hand, and it is a shame that clip art is such an easy way out these days.
I'd guess anyone here reading this who can draw the image I just described above could probably paint it, too, but what if the customer asks for it in vinyl? That hood is gonna cost a fortune to job out the artwork and set up.
One of the hardest things to do is tell a customer that I can't do a job for them because I simply am not equipped to do it. If I can refer them to someone who is set up for it, I do. The other shop makes a buck and the customer gets what they wanted. I usually get a phone call from each thanking me for the help and remain in good standing with both.
Mark, you're set up do do that job, willing to spend a few bicks on a disc for it, and are trying to do it right for the customer. Kudos. That's good business in my book.
There's no horses here, just differnt outlooks on production techniques. Just like a letterhead meet should be.

MAN I can't believe you are making such a big deal about it. You don't even know what my intentions are for the clip art and you are bashing me for wanting it. Don't you have anything better to do with your time? If you couldn't offer help or did not want to help then move on with your business. Sir, I operate a business were I have to design graphics everyday and yes I can draw, paint, stripe, clear or whatever. My company designs and paints million dollar motor coachs for stars including Martin Lawerence's new 2.5 million dollar rig, Off-shore boats, custom cars including the 1967 Camaro that is featured in this months Camaro Performers magazine, countless motorcycles including Jim Hartman's custom that has won best paint at every event it has entered this year. Sorry you didn't like my request but I really did have a good reason for wanting it.

I think I can help you... Grab a pencil and paper to write this down......
555-1212 Now after writting this on the paper then start to doodle the image you are thinking of!
With projects that you have done 2.5 million dollar boats and picture projects for mags. You will come up with the exact image you need for your customer...
Seriously! How hard is this task?
Barbwire is one object that does not involve a straight line

Mark, I am sorry that some of the Letterheads can not read or choses not to help fellow signers. I can not draw because of a handicap so I relay on clipart to help me. If I can't find the clipart, then I pay someone to draw it for me. I don't believe he was asking for a handout just a questioned answered. I sent you a personel note, so check you email.
