I've done several successful jobs with their products. They are not above making errors, but if you really press the details & make sure to be clear on your end, they will deal honorably in regard to possible errors. With over a hundred signs in an order, a few errors is understandable I guess. They get my vote, but there are many other sources as well.

I've sold a lot of the Vista System Judy mentioned. You can ink-jet the insert from your printer, thus allowing the use of multi-color and images. It also gives you (or the client) the ability to change the message without buying a new one.

I'm not a big fan of system signage, but, first off make sure they are ADA compliant, some of Vista's signs are great as a system , but don't meet ADA guidlines if they don't had tactile and braille.
Try APCO www.apcosigns.com they have a great catalog of system signage. Also ASI/Modulex, though usually ony seel to Architects and Designers, you might find a way around that. www.asisign.com
