I just got off the phone from Illinois... and it gets wierder. This project is from the twighlight zone!!!
The organizers of the mural project are all out of town for the weekend.
I have no idea where the permit is or any other travel arrangements at this time. They didn't bother to let me know whats happening before they left.
Unless some miracle happens I would think my remaining time on the permit (if it ever actually appears) to be too short to do the project.
So as of this writing I assume that I won't be going to Illinois at this time.
I do have lots of other projects to keep me busy however.
I appreciate the folks who indicated they would come visit me when I was down there. It would have been great!
I'll post here if things suddenly change.

Just put it off for a few weeks, and come on down for the meet in Atlanta, Il on July 11, 12, and 13. We can start on your mural on the 14th. It would be a chance for you to meet a bunch of great people, and me too.

And Don, that's a cool idea, but I don't think there's any hope of getting a work visa that quick & my other would be expired. I also have other projects booked through the summer and fall & winter & spring and into next summer...
