Just to let everyone know that I have put a piccie into this contest, and it is second from the end if you want to have a look (and perhaps vote... that is just if you want to ) Remember to look at all the entries, a couple of them are pretty good.

Hey Kat, we havn't met. Hi and thanks for sharing. Looks good, very creative. IMO, it's between you and the middle row far left so far, in regards to execution. Do you want to pursue illustration? It would make an excellent companion to lettering for a career.

At the moment, I'm thinking of becoming an art teacher But I'm doing a lot of painting/sewing at the moment, and I would like to go into illustration etc maybe later on down the track. I actually just threw that pic in there at the last minute because I already had it done/scanned, it wasn't made specifically for the comp. Oh, and it looks a lot better in real life.. At the moment I am focusing on developing my style further... and trust me, it is certainly starting to get there, compared to what I was doing only a few years ago

Thanks for the compliments on the piece My most recent artworks have all been about the colour... I'm usually a leetle cautious with colour, so I've just gone wild with it on my last couple, and working on loosening up my style a bit, as I am quite often too rigid with it... So yes, having a lot of fun with these pieces
