It was interesting to observe the house we rented these last two years rapidly transform back into an 'ordinary' building once more.
As we removed our furniture, the art on the walls, our offices, and emptied the carport & toolshed it transformed from OUR PLACE into an ordinary house once more. The new tennants will turn it into 'their' place as they move their stuff in and arrange it all to their satisfaction.
And our new place (this time truely ours) is changing rapidly. Some new carpets & lino and a whole new coat of paint instantly changed the basic structure. Our furniture and soon the hundreds of painting, drawings & photographs will personaize the place in a hurry.
We knocked down some old structures, and cleared out truckloads of garbage that had accumulated under previous owners. Long weeds & unruly bushes are being trimmed into shape.
And soon the bigger changes that will make our place "OURS" will begin to happen. The new buildings are already staked out in the back pasture. A 'designer' fence will also define our territory soon along with some new exciting 'signage' at the front corner.
It will be quickly evident to those who pass by that the place is under new ownership.
We do this same job for all our customers with signs. Our unique task is to personalize their businesses, to set them apart from all their competition. It takes a creative and imaginative mind to do it well.
We are fortunate to have a wonderful & satisfying occupation such as this! And we can make the each space we work on extra special for our clients.

Dan, maybe I missed something there but it sure seems like you just made it sound like a wonderful adventure to pull a truckload of weeds and paint the house. Man, you are one unique individual.
Congratulations on the new digs.
I gotta remember to send you the picture of my conrete and steel mushroom doghouse I asked you about a couple of years ago.
