Most of you probably don't know or remember me. I have been away from the business and the BB for quite a while.
I don't know what pulled me here this morning but, I accidentally clicked on the Esoteric link and it sent me to Rick Glawson's page.
This was the first I knew of his passing. My chest got a little tight. I never met him in person. Once I called him to ask him how he had done something that was in an old ST I have. He stopped his work and talked with me for a good long while explaining in detail the things that I, a total stranger to him, wanted to know.
I always had the illusion that someday I'd retire and set up a small shop to do some of the stuff I wanted to do and not what I had to do. In that illusion, Rick Glawson would be there to help me along in completing my longing and love for the art.
I guess this is what we refer to as life? He is missed. I'll stop now before twisting to deep into the depths of the shadows the mind can conjure up in moments like these.

It is a bit ironic as I sit here composing a letter with card attached to send to Lola. The pain still lingers in all of our hearts as it must in yours now.
If there was one thing I would hope for from this is that each person that was touched by what this wonderful man did for them, that they celebrate his life through sharing with others, that unique gift he gave them.
and as it has been mentioned in other posts, only through Lola, did we know Rick. Your prayers, and written words of encouragement would always be uplifting to her.
