Do we use just water based paints on all of our carvings? Yes. We do. Why? Cuz the color selection is MUCH better and we seal them with a clearcoat anyway. We never have paint problems here.
Its also a lot easier to mix color tints in little cups with water based paints. It also allows us to use Createx airbrush paints in the airbrushes for shading and highlighting. And we don't have to get headaches when the guys are spraying panels.
There! I did it, no?

But it just wouldn't feel right to go home without smelling like paint and solvents, no?
hehehe
Seriously though, there are advantages to water based paints on some projects. I have been wanting to try Gary Anderson's paint. Has anyone used it?
