That is great! It has got to be inspired by the Far Side.
ever see the one with a cat standing behind the door with a paint brush, & the dog following this trail of painted arrows on the floor that said "Dog Fud" & led to the clothes dryer where the cat was ready to kick the door shut.

They are all over Atlanta...those billboards are something I miss since I moved up here. Here in West Virginia, they use cows for what God intended them to do, holding the yard down LOL.
Doug, I was in a Binders store years ago and I was looking at the card rack. I came across that particular cartoon and could not stop laughing. I collapsed to a squating position and having found the coffee mug with that cartoon on it, I reached up and slid the box it was in onto the counter. The cashier leaned over and saw me down there and asked if I was alright. I told her, "I'm all better now!" Everytime someone came over to have coffee, they always asked for the cat fud mug ha ha ha! One thing though Doug...the artist in my cartoon was the dog...I caught the difference in our posts and had to think back (as the mug has since been broken or lost)
Thanks! I enjoyed the chuckles!

"A" Don and I saw the same one when we were on our way to Jimmy's meet. We had to discuss it for several miles, to see if we really seen what we seen.
Finally, If I remember right we saw another one that confirmed it.

That's right Linda, I got them mixed up. Unfortunately, my dogs have no problem catching cats so I guess I must have thought only the cat would need to resort to trickery. (I like dogs a little more then cats, but I do think cats seem a little smarter.)

Those things are funny, they are all over this neck of the woods. There's a whole series of them. They are all very clever. The humor takes a certain twist though, when you realise those are dairy cows.

Hey Cathy...I'm sure you'd get along famously with Dan Cathy...I'll let him know how well his "Cows" have come across with y'all. He'll probably laugh that he's impressed a bunch of Letterheads...Those billboards really are funny.

I still don't remember what happened to the coffee mug, the girls prolly broke it when they were washing dishes. I sure do miss it!
I loved the birth mark one too!
I had 4 cats and then, of course, George. I used to let him to run a lap through the house. He would chase the cats and subsequently all my furniture was dusted out from underneath. "How did I dust the base boards?" you ask? A lazer light pen silly! Watching those cats chase it around gave me so many ideas for hints to Heloise (sp) but when one of them started sneezing I quit.

My all time favorite Far Side is the one with two bucks in the forest with guns over their shoulders and holding up two naked men by their feet. One is looking at how well hung his catch is and says "Waddya think, Maybe I should mount this one, it's quite a trophy"

My favorite FarSide... Two bulls in the living room, one blowing up a life size inflatable cow. The other one waiting in anticipation and saying "She's lookin good Vern"

Another fave is the two bears sitting in a junk car out in the woods and one says "If we could get this baby running we'd be the grizzlies from hell"
Or the one where the boy dog shows up at the door for a date with flowers and the girl dog says "Boy don't you look nice, and whatever you rolled around in sure smells good"
I have several of the Far Side books including "The Prehistory of the Far Side" It tells the evolution of the cartoons and what he had to change in them for the censors. Really interesting how his mind works.

Two guys standing outside of a doghouse, the dog's got a chain saw. One guy saying "watch out or Zeek's liable to fire that thing up"
Also, one of my all time favs. The guy in hell with a smile, pushing a wheelbarrow of coal or something, whistling while he worked. The devil in the background saying "You know, we just don't seem to be getting to that guy".

When I first saw those billboards, it gave me a great sense of accomplishment. That is exactly how my hand painting looks. I usually do okay with the spelling though. I had a copy of the last far side desk calendar last year. Some of those things were hilarious, but you could tell that Gary Larson was running out of things to come up with on some. Now I have a Jeff Foxworthy desk calendar. It is really worth having. Some of the things in it remind me of some of the people that I have spent time with a Lettterhead meets
