I listen to Kraftwerk, Vanjelous, Pink Floyd and Sinatra when I'm designing and just go with a classic channel on my workshop FM system during work hours. Being a child of the sixties I can bearly stand the new music but I do like Kid Rock and whats his name.....

John Coltrane & Miles Davis; Branford Marsalis; Boots Randolf and Journey with my good friend Steve Perry. Steve and I used to play at the same nightclub before he was discovered. He'd come in and ask if he could sing a few tunes and I would always sure 'cause I had four sets a night to sing five times a week so it was a relief to have him stand in. I prefer jazz most of the time but I'm very partial to rock & roll which is what I was raised on.

We have an old old radio here that swaps between 106.4 and 106.7 FM depending on who's parked outside my shop or the neighbours place. On 106.7 its Rock classics lots of old Stones Pink Floyd Led Zeppelin etc, and on the other frequency its Power Hit radio lots of Euro pop and club music. Much as I like alot of 60,s 70,s progressive rock, I can just as easily listen to Leftfield, Moby, or house music, modern club music but I am not a clubber, anybody else listen to more ambient club music?
I also like and have lots of John Cougar, Bob Seger, Allman Brothers, Steve Earle etc, so the listening here is pretty varied and often depends on what we are doing! and the speed at which we should be doing it!
